Job Summary

The Travel Consultant is responsible for providing expert travel advice and end-to-end booking services for our corporate and leisure clients. You will serve as a trusted advisor, navigating complex global travel regulations to create seamless, cost-effective, and memorable journeys. This role requires a blend of technical proficiency in booking systems and a high level of empathy and problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities1. Corporate Travel Coordination

  • Policy Compliance: Ensure all business bookings (flights, hotels, rail) adhere to the client's corporate travel policy and budget.
  • Complex Routing: Manage multi-city international itineraries, often with last-minute changes or tight connections.
  • Traveler Tracking: Monitor traveler locations and provide real-time alerts or re-booking support during disruptions (weather, strikes, etc.).
  • B2B Service: Act as the dedicated point of contact for corporate travel managers to handle billing, reporting, and traveler profiles.

2. Leisure & Holiday Consulting

  • Personalized Itineraries: Conduct in-depth "discovery calls" with leisure clients to design bespoke holiday packages (honeymoons, family tours, luxury escapes).
  • Destination Expertise: Provide "insider" recommendations on hotels, local customs, visa requirements, and "off-the-beaten-path" experiences.
  • Ancillary Services: Arrange travel insurance, car rentals, airport transfers, and private guided tours.

3. Technical & Operational Excellence

  • GDS Management: Execute bookings, ticketing, exchanges, and refunds using Amadeus, Sabre, or Galileo.
  • Quality Control: Rigorously check all travel documents (visas, passports, health entry requirements) for accuracy before departure.
  • Supplier Liaison: Coordinate with DMCs (Destination Management Companies) and hotel partners to secure VIP amenities or special requests.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience: 2+ years in a travel agency or TMC (Travel Management Company) environment.
  • GDS Mastery: Expert-level knowledge of Galielo
  • Certifications: IATA/UFTAA certification is highly desirable.
  • Communication: Ability to explain complex travel jargon in simple, reassuring terms to clients.
  • Adaptability: Exceptional calm-under-pressure skills to handle travel "crises" or sudden schedule changes.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month

Benefits:

  • Cell phone reimbursement
