Travel Consultant – Job Description (2–5 Years Experience)

We are seeking an experienced Travel Consultant with 2–5 years of hands-on experience in travel planning, customer handling, and booking management. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering customized travel solutions while ensuring excellent client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end travel planning for domestic and international clients.
• Design customized itineraries based on client preferences, budgets, and timelines.
• Handle bookings for flights, hotels, cruises, visas, travel insurance, and ground transportation.
• Provide expert advice on destinations, travel regulations, and documentation requirements.
• Coordinate with airlines, hotels, tour operators, and vendors to secure competitive pricing.
• Resolve booking changes, cancellations, and travel-related issues efficiently.
• Prepare quotations, invoices, vouchers, and booking confirmations.
• Maintain strong relationships with repeat clients and corporate accounts.
• Support sales targets through upselling and cross-selling travel services.

Required Skills & Experience

• 2–5 years of experience as a Travel Consultant or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of international destinations and travel products.
• Experience with booking tools, airline portals, and travel management systems.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple clients simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in luxury travel, MICE, or customized tour planning.
• Knowledge of visa procedures and international travel compliance.
