Job Description

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Travel Consultant to join our Travel Technology team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in the travel industry, excellent communication skills, and familiarity with travel booking systems and supplier integrations. You will act as a liaison between clients and our technology platforms, ensuring seamless travel solutions and outstanding customer experiences. Key Responsibilities: Provide expert consultation and support to B2B/B2C clients using our travel technology platform. Assist users in booking flights, hotels, packages, and other travel services via our booking engine. Handle inquiries related to GDS (e.g., Amadeus, Sabre, Galileo) and non-GDS supplier integrations. Monitor and troubleshoot booking issues, escalations, and ensure timely resolution in coordination with tech support. Educate clients on system functionalities, tools, and workflows. Coordinate with product and tech teams for feature improvements, bug reports, and enhancements. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of travel industry trends, fare rules, and OTA/GDS practices. Support UAT (User Acceptance Testing) of new product releases to ensure quality and functionality. Generate reports and provide insights on customer feedback and system usability. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Tourism, Hospitality, Business, or related field. 2–5 years of experience as a Travel Consultant, preferably in a tech-driven environment. Proficient in GDS (Amadeus/Sabre/Galileo) and travel portals (e.g., Booking.com, Expedia, etc.). Knowledge of travel APIs, booking engines, and mid/back-office tools is a plus. Strong understanding of domestic and international travel processes and documentation. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Tech-savvy, with the ability to quickly learn and use new software platforms. Strong problem-solving and organizational skills. Preferred Qualifications: Experience working with SaaS-based travel platforms. Familiarity with ticketing, reissuance, cancellations, and refunds. Knowledge of PNR creation/modification and fare rules.
