Transportation Supervisor

You will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations involving drivers and helpers to ensure timely, safe, and efficient transportation of goods. This includes supervising and coordinating the activities of the team, scheduling daily routes, monitoring driver performance, conducting vehicle and equipment inspections, resolving transportation-related issues, and training new drivers and helpers on company procedures and safety practices. Additionally, you will be expected to maintain accurate records, communicate effectively with other departments, and ensure proper conduct and professional behavior from the team. To excel in this role, you should have a high school diploma or equivalent, proven experience in a transportation or logistics role, strong leadership and communication skills, and the ability to multitask and make decisions under pressure.
