Transportation Supervisor

As a Vehicle Sourcing and Vendor Relationship Manager at our company located in Periyapalayam, your role involves managing vehicle sourcing activities and maintaining strong vendor relationships. You will be responsible for overseeing the planning and supervision of vehicle placement to end-users, ensuring coordination with clients for timely vehicle delivery and service requirements. Additionally, you will be accountable for on-time proof of delivery (POD) collection and providing accurate updates to customers. Tracking vehicles and offering regular updates to clients will also be part of your responsibilities. Prepare and submit daily Management Information System (MIS) reports on vehicle placement and tracking to keep stakeholders informed. Key Responsibilities: - Manage vehicle sourcing and vendor relationships effectively. - Oversee the planning and supervision of vehicle placement to end-users. - Coordinate with clients to ensure timely vehicle delivery and service requirements. - Ensure on-time POD collection and provide accurate updates. - Track vehicles and offer regular updates to customers. - Prepare and submit daily MIS reports on vehicle placement and tracking. Qualifications Required: - Bachelors Degree in any relevant field. - 3-4 years of experience in transportation or logistics. - Experience in logistics for at least 4 years (Preferred).
