Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Manage day-to-day operations of the school transport system.
Plan and schedule bus routes for students and staff.
Supervise drivers and helpers, ensuring discipline, punctuality, and safety compliance.
Maintain vehicle records, fitness certificates, insurance, and permits.
Coordinate for regular maintenance, servicing, and repair of school vehicles.
Ensure compliance with all RTO and safety regulations.
Maintain accurate transport records (fuel log, route chart, attendance, etc.).
Handle parent queries or transport-related concerns professionally.

Preferred candidate profile

B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering (preferred) with strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance and operations.
Well-versed with school transport safety norms and RTO regulations.
Possesses good leadership and coordination skills to manage drivers and support staff.
Strong sense of responsibility, discipline, and punctuality.
Ability to handle transport-related queries from parents, staff, and authorities professionally.
Basic computer proficiency (MS Excel, Word, and Email communication).
Freshers with good communication and management aptitude are also welcome to apply.
