Transport Executive

A Poultry Logistics Executive manages the transportation, storage, and distribution of poultry products, focusing on the supply chain from farm to consumer, involving coordination of feed, birds, eggs, ensuring timely delivery, quality, and cost-efficiency, often requiring knowledge of farm operations, supply chain software, and team leadership for tasks like route planning, inventory, and compliance. Core Responsibilities

• Supply Chain Oversight: Managing the movement of poultry, feed, eggs, or finished products.
• Logistics Planning: Organizing transportation, warehousing, and delivery schedules.
• Inventory Management: Monitoring stock levels of feed, supplies, or products.
• Quality & Compliance: Ensuring products meet standards for health, safety, and temperature control.
• Team Coordination: Supervising logistics staff, drivers, or farm personnel involved in dispatch/receiving.
• Reporting: Documenting logistics activities, costs, and performance.

Key Skills & Qualifications

• Experience: Poultry farming, logistics, supply chain management, or related operations.
• Education: Degree/Diploma in Agriculture, Animal Husbandry, or Logistics.
• Skills: Leadership, communication, problem-solving, knowledge of poultry biosecurity/farm practices.
