Job Summary

The Transport Executive is responsible for managing and coordinating employee transportation services, ensuring safe, timely, and cost-effective transport operations in compliance with company policies and statutory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end employee transportation operations (pick-up and drop services).
  
• Coordinate with transport vendors and drivers to ensure smooth daily operations.
  
• Ensure adherence to SLAs, safety standards, and company transport policies.
  
• Monitor route planning, vehicle utilization, and optimize transport costs.
  
• Handle employee queries, feedback, and escalations related to transportation.
  
• Ensure compliance with statutory, legal, and safety requirements (including night shift safety norms).
  
• Maintain accurate transport records, MIS reports, billing validation, and documentation.
  
• Conduct regular audits of vehicles, drivers, and transport processes.
  
• Manage emergency situations, breakdowns, or delays efficiently.
  
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders such as HR, Admin, and Security teams.
  

Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of transport operations in IT/ITES environments.
  
• Good communication and coordination skills.
  
• Ability to manage vendors and multiple stakeholders.
  
• Proficiency in MS Excel and reporting tools.
  
• Knowledge of GPS tracking systems and transport management software.
  
• Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  
• Understanding of employee safety and compliance standards.
  

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in any discipline (preferred).
  
• Relevant experience in transport or facility management within IT/ITES industry.
