Key Responsibilities: Planning and Scheduling: Develops and manages transportation schedules, assigns drivers, and optimizes routes for efficient delivery. Documentation: Prepares and maintains accurate records of shipments, including delivery notes, invoices, and compliance paperwork. Coordination: Liaises with drivers, customers, and other departments to ensure smooth movement of goods. Compliance: Ensures adherence to safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards. Problem Solving: Addresses customer inquiries, resolves issues related to shipments, and implements solutions for improvement. Administrative Tasks: Performs general administrative duties, including data entry, record keeping, and communication. Inventory Management: May be involved in managing inventory levels and tracking stock movements. Budget Management: May be responsible for managing the transportation budget and monitoring costs.
