Purpose of the Role:
The Training Manager will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering training programs for Business Executives (BEs) and Area Business Managers (ABMs) focusing on specialty therapy areas. The role ensures BEs are equipped with scientific product knowledge, selling skills, compliance understanding, and field effectiveness techniques to excel in customer interactions and drive business results.
Role & responsibilities
Agenda Preparation & training delivery
- Understanding program, accordingly agenda preparation for the program
- Designing and updating training modules across therapeutic areas and brands.
- Deliver effective training via classroom sessions, virtual platforms and e-learning tools.
- Simplify complex scientific information for better understanding and execution
- Customize content based on learner needs and market changes.
- Conduct Induction training programs for new BEs and ABMs.
- Conduct Refresher programs for existing BEs
Scientific & Product Knowledge
- Collaborate with the Medical Affairs and Product Management team to update training content.
- Conduct sessions on disease management, relevant products and competition. (For this role knowledge specific to Neuropsychiatric segment)
Performance Monitoring
- Assess training effectiveness through feedback, assessments, knowledge checks and performance tracking
- Track post-training performance improvements in coordination with sales managers.
- Identify learning gaps and recommend development plans in collaboration with managers.
Training Administration
- Maintain accurate records, training data and learning calendars.
- Ensure audit readiness through systematic documentation of all training interventions.

- Scientific aptitude with the ability to understand and simplify medical content
Experience:
- Essentially having minimum 2 years of Sales experience and 2-3 years of experience in Pharma Sales Training
- Prior experience in a Specialty Division or Chronic segment preferred
- Exposure to modern L&D tools and digital training delivery is desirable
