Training Specialist

Key Responsibilities

Training Design & Development

  • Conduct Training Needs Analysis (TNA) to identify skill gaps and learning objectives.
  • Design structured training programs that align with business goals and adult learning principles.
  • Create impactful visual content and use storytelling to simplify complex information.
  • Develop training tools, modules, and resources that are engaging, results-driven, and tailored to diverse learning styles.

Training Delivery & Facilitation

  • Deliver interactive, high-impact training sessions for various target audiences including trainers, educators, HR professionals, and other L&D roles.
  • Employ modern facilitation techniques to keep learners engaged and motivated throughout the learning journey.
  • Use technology, visual aids, and dynamic teaching methods to enhance retention and relevance.
  • Build learner confidence, improve body language, and manage Q&A sessionseven under pressure.

Evaluation & Continuous Improvement

  • Measure training effectiveness using feedback tools, assessments, and KPIs.
  • Offer insightful feedback and coaching to drive continuous skill improvement.
  • Foster post-training learning sustainment through coaching, learning journeys, and follow-up tools.
  • Continuously refine training programs based on participant feedback and performance outcomes.

  • Help individuals manage diverse learning styles and address challenges during live training sessions.
  • Train others on communication, facilitation, group dynamics, and constructive feedback techniques.
  • Empower learners to assess their own training delivery and improve over time.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Proven experience as a trainer, instructional designer, facilitator, or similar L&D role.
  • Deep understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design.
  • Strong communication and storytelling abilities.
  • Skilled in using visual design, tools, and technology for training delivery.
  • Ability to coach others and give actionable feedback.
  • Confident in managing group activities, discussions, and simulations.

Preferred Background

  • Experience in corporate learning environments.
  • Familiarity with learning management systems (LMS) and digital learning tools.
  • Certification in Instructional Design, Facilitation, or Coaching (e.g., CPTD, DDI, ATD) is a plus.
