The Training & Placement Officer is responsible for preparing students for employment and facilitating campus placements by building strong relationships with industry partners, organizing training programs, and managing the end-to-end placement process.
* Develop and maintain relationships with corporates, recruiters, and industry partners for campus placements and internships.
* Plan and execute placement drives, job fairs, pre-placement talks, and recruitment activities.
* Identify training needs of students and coordinate skill-development programs such as aptitude, soft skills, technical, and interview readiness training.
* Maintain student placement records, employer databases, and placement reports.
* Guide and counsel students on career paths, resume building, and interview preparation.
* Coordinate with academic departments to align student skills with industry requirements.
* Ensure timely communication between students, recruiters, and college management.
* Proven experience in training & placements, corporate relations, or HR/recruitment (education sector preferred).
* Strong communication, networking, and coordination skills.
* Ability to work independently and manage multiple stakeholders.
