Overview: Karmick Institute is the first off-campus institute in Eastern India to collaborate with IIT Guwahati, setting benchmarks in industry-oriented IT training. We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Training and Placement Officer who is passionate about empowering students and building strong industry connections. Key Responsibilities: Build and nurture partnerships with companies and recruiters to generate placement opportunities. Provide students with placement related guidance and help them secure jobs in their relevant domains. Guide students in career planning, job search techniques, and interview preparation. Assess student skills and align them with current industry requirements. Active participation in campus placement drives, career fairs, and recruitment sessions. Open to market visits and gather requirements from organizations that will help in placements. Track placement data, generate insights, and present detailed reports on placement outcomes and performance trends. Work closely with academic teams to ensure alignment between training programs and curriculum. Key Skills & Qualifications: Graduate in any discipline. Minimum 7+ years in a similar role within education, training, placement services preferably in engineering, MCA, BCA, or MBA colleges. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong time management, multitasking, and administrative skills. Understanding of current job trends and employer expectations and strong database of PAN India organizations and their hiring processes.
