Job Description Education Counselor Location: Sitapura, Jaipur Job Summary The Education Counselor will be responsible for guiding prospective students and parents about available programs, managing admissions inquiries, and supporting the conversion process for MBA/PGDM admissions. The role requires excellent communication skills, counseling abilities, and a strong customer-service mindset. Key Responsibilities Student Counseling & Guidance Counsel prospective students and parents regarding MBA/PGDM programs, career opportunities, and admission procedures. Conduct telephonic, online, and face-to-face counseling sessions. Understand student needs, interests, and academic goals, and provide accurate program information. Assist students in the application and documentation process. Admissions & Conversion Follow up on leads generated through various channels (digital campaigns, walk-ins, outreach, referrals). Maintain lead records, counseling logs, and follow-up data in CRM/MIS. Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly inquiry conversion targets. Coordinate with the admissions team to ensure smooth enrollment. Communication & Outreach Handle incoming calls, WhatsApp inquiries, and email queries. Participate in education fairs, seminars, campus visits, and counseling workshops. Support marketing campaigns by providing student insights and feedback. Build relationships with parents, students, and external stakeholders. Administrative & Reporting Tasks Maintain accurate student data, application forms, and documentation. Prepare daily and weekly reports on inquiry status, walk-ins, and conversions. Coordinate with the academic and administrative team for timely updates. Required Skills Excellent communication skills (English & Hindi). Strong interpersonal and counseling skills. Ability to understand student psychology and career aspirations. Target-oriented approach with strong follow-up skills. Good command of MS Office (Word, Excel) and CRM tools. Ability to multitask and manage high inquiry volumes. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree required; MBA/PGDM preferred. 1–4 years of experience in student counseling, admissions, or customer service. Experience in higher education institutions is an added advantage.
