Training and Placement Officer

Position Title: Placement Officer
Department: Skill Development & Employability
Reporting To: Program Head / Director & CEO – HCHW

Role Summary

The Placement Officer is responsible for ensuring successful employment outcomes for students trained under HCHW skill development programs. The role focuses on industry linkages, employer engagement, student placement, tracking, and post-placement support.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with employers, corporates, HR agencies, BFSI companies, ITES firms, and local industries.
• Identify job opportunities aligned with students’ skill sets and training programs.
• Coordinate campus interviews, job fairs, walk-in drives, and placement events.
• Prepare students for placements through resume building, interview preparation, and workplace readiness sessions.
• Maintain complete placement data, employer database, student profiles, and placement records.
• Ensure documentation and reporting as per donor, CSR, and government requirements.
• Track placed candidates and provide post-placement follow-up and retention support.
• Coordinate with trainers, academic coordinators, and centre heads for batch planning and placement readiness.
• Support government skill schemes and compliance with placement-linked targets.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual placement reports.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree (any discipline; MBA/HR preferred).
• Minimum 1–4 years of experience in placements, recruitment, or employability programs.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and networking skills.
• Good knowledge of industry hiring trends.
• Proficiency in MS Office, reporting tools, and databases.
• Willingness to travel and work in field-based placement activities (JOB MELA Etc..).

• Placement percentage achieved per batch.
• Number of active employer partnerships.
• Retention and post-placement tracking success.
• Timely reporting and documentation accuracy.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,272.68 - ₹25,000.00 per month
