Trainer

Main Function of Job:

ULaw has undergone incredible growth and diversification over the last 5 years. To meet our ambitious strategic aims, ULaw is embarking on a major transformation programme. This role sits within the new CORDs Transformation Programme and will contribute to the implementation of the new student information system and associated integrations.

Working as part of the Training Team you will be delivering face-to-face classroom and virtual content to our colleagues in the Hyderabad office. You will also be providing ad hoc training and coaching for individuals for any knowledge gaps, along with working with the Training Manager and key stakeholders to identify any additional needs to facilitate an effective rollout of the new system.

Specific Responsibilities:

Training

• Collaborate with other members of the CORDS programme team to understand how the new student information system will impact offshore colleagues.
• Learn and understand the key processes that will underpin business operations at pace, to effectively utilise training plans and materials to deliver engaging and effective face-to-face and virtual sessions.

Training

• Deliver classroom, online and ad-hoc training as directed by the Training Manager for the Hyderabad office.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of an effective, flexible and cost-effective training provision and delivery process.
• Receive, acknowledge and incorporate learner feedback into the delivery process.
• Continuously assess knowledge gaps and learner challenges during delivery, reporting to the Training Manager.

Business

• Work with the programme team to ensure that ongoing knowledge transfer is in place, so that the benefits of the new ways of working continue to be transferred, shared and realised in the University.
• Develop an understanding of the business and how it functions so this can reflect in training delivery and analysis undertaken
• Promote and sustain a constructive and supportive working relationship with all customers, external and internal, immediate and senior management and other work colleagues.

General

Education to degree level

Or

Substantial experience, demonstrating development through involvement in a series of progressively more demanding relevant work/roles, and the acquisition of appropriate professional or specialist knowledge

Desirable

Relevant training qualification

Experience of online project collaboration and presentation systems such as Microsoft Teams and Mentimeter

Experience of delivering training on software solutions.

Experience of training delivery through different methods

Experience of working successfully in a complex and fast-moving environment

Desirable

Experience specifically within the Higher Education Sector, providing valuable insights into its unique requirements and challenges.

Experience of delivering training on Ellucian software solutions.

Computer literate, good Microsoft Office knowledge.
