Job Description

We are looking for a QA Test Engineer (Fresher) with foundational knowledge of ERP systems who is eager to start a career in software testing. The candidate will work closely with functional consultants and developers to ensure the quality and reliability of ERP applications.

Key Responsibilities:

Understand ERP functional flows (Finance, HCM, SCM, etc)
Execute manual test cases based on business and functional requirements
Perform functional, regression, and integration testing
Identify, log, and track defects using defect management tools
Validate ERP modules against business scenarios
Collaborate with developers, functional consultants, and QA leads
Prepare basic test documentation (test cases, test scenarios, test reports)

Required Skills & Knowledge:

Basic understanding of ERP concepts (Oracle / SAP / NetSuite / Dynamics - any)
Knowledge of SDLC & STLC
Familiarity with manual testing concepts
Basic SQL knowledge for data validation (preferred)
Understanding of defect lifecycle
Good analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong communication and documentation skills

Good to Have (Optional):

Exposure to automation tools (Selenium, Opkey, etc)
Knowledge of ERP modules like Finance, HCM, or SCM
Internship or project experience in ERP or QA
Basic understanding of APIs

Educational Qualification:

B.E / B.Tech / MCA / BCA / B.Sc (IT/CS) or equivalent
ERP or Testing certification is a plus
