Internship Description:

Key Responsibilities: -

• Serve as the first point of contact for individuals seeking psychological support, offering immediate assistance and intervention.
• Facilitate conducting of initial HappiLife assessment to understand clients' needs and concerns, providing empathetic listening and support.
• Utilize active listening and crisis intervention techniques to de-escalate crises and provide emotional support to clients.
• Collaborate with senior psychologists and mental health professionals to develop and implement personalized care plans for clients.
• Maintain accurate and confidential client records, adhering to ethical and legal standards.

Qualifications: -

• Master’s degree in psychology, or current enrollment as a 1st or 2nd year psychology Masters's student.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with individuals in crisis.
• Compassion, Empathy and a genuine desire to help others.
• Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations.
• Willingness to participate in ongoing training and professional development.

Phase 2 Career Path: -

As a Psychological First Responder, you will have the opportunity to grow and advance within our organization. Every 6 months there will be a performance review and basis for progression in role. You can end up becoming a full time psychologist in 12 months, meeting the terms & conditions.
