Job Description

Nexdigm (SKP) is looking for Trainee - Indirect Tax to join our dynamic team and embark on a rewarding career journey

Tax Compliance Assistance:Assist in preparing and filing indirect tax returns, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations
Learn to navigate tax software and tools used for filing and reporting purposes
Documentation and Record Keeping:Maintain accurate records of transactions, invoices, and relevant documentation for indirect tax purposes
Support in organizing and managing documentation for audits and reviews
Research and Analysis:Conduct research on changes in tax laws and regulations related to indirect taxes
Analyze the impact of regulatory changes on the organization's indirect tax position
Communication and Coordination:Collaborate with internal departments to gather information necessary for indirect tax compliance
Communicate with external stakeholders, such as tax authorities, as directed by senior tax professionals
Learning and Development:Participate in training sessions to enhance knowledge of indirect tax laws and regulations
Gain hands-on experience in applying tax concepts to real-world scenarios
Qualifications:Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, or a related field
Basic understanding of taxation principles and an interest in indirect taxation
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Proficient in MS Office applications, particularly Excel
Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team
Eagerness to learn and develop a career in tax
