Role Overview

The Track Engineer will be responsible for the execution, supervision, and quality control of track-related works in metro/rail infrastructure projects. The role requires close coordination with project teams, contractors, consultants, and quality/safety departments to ensure timely and accurate delivery of track works in line with technical specifications, drawings, and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor track installation, alignment, and related civil works at site.
• Review drawings, specifications, and technical documents related to track works.
• Ensure quality standards and safety protocols are followed during execution.
• Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and internal teams for smooth progress of works.
• Conduct inspection of materials and ensure compliance with approved quality standards.
• Maintain daily progress reports, site records, and track work documentation.
• Assist in resolving technical issues and interface challenges during construction.
• Support in testing, commissioning, and final handing over of track works.

Key Skills & Competencies

• Strong understanding of track works, civil construction practices, and quality standards.
• Hands-on experience in metro/railway/track laying projects preferred.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Good coordination and communication skills with multi-disciplinary teams.
• Knowledge of relevant codes, standards, and safety practices.
• Problem-solving and analytical abilities.

Educational & Professional Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (mandatory).
• 5–8 years of relevant experience in track/rail/metro/infrastructure projects.
