Tool Design Engineer

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Press Tool Designer to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and modifying press tools used in sheet metal and component manufacturing, ensuring quality, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities

• Design progressive, compound, and single-stage press tools
• Prepare 2D drawings and 3D models for press tools and components
• Develop tool layouts, strip layouts, and die assemblies
• Coordinate with production, quality, and tooling teams during tool development
• Ensure tools meet production, safety, and quality standards
• Troubleshoot tool-related issues and suggest improvements
• Support tool trials, modifications, and validations
• Maintain proper documentation and revision control

Requirements & Qualifications

• Diploma / BE / BTech in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• 2–5 years of experience as a Press Tool Designer (sheet metal preferred)
• Strong knowledge of press tool design principles and manufacturing processes
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks software
• Understanding of press machines, tool steels, and heat treatment
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and GD&T
• Good problem-solving and communication skills

Preferred Skills

• Experience in electrical components or precision manufacturing
• Exposure to progressive die design
• Knowledge of ISO quality standards

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
