Job Summary

• Assist in designing and drafting tools, jigs, fixtures, and other manufacturing equipment. This includes creating technical drawings, 3D models, and design specifications using CAD software e.g., AutoCAD.
• Support in the creation and testing of prototypes for new tool designs, ensuring they meet functional, safety, and durability standards.
• Perform basic calculations related to material strength, stress analysis, and other engineering principles to validate tool designs.
• Work with senior engineers and production teams to understand tool requirements, production processes, and optimization needs.
• Maintain accurate records of design work, modifications, and technical specifications.
• Identify design issues and help in troubleshooting problems related to tool functionality, efficiency, and quality.
• Contribute to ongoing design improvements, cost-reduction initiatives, and process optimization in tool manufacturing.
  

Job Specification

• Diploma/ Bachelor s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Tool Design, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
• Basic knowledge of CAD software
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
