Tool Design Engineer

As a Product Design Engineer, your primary role will involve reading and understanding CAD drawings, preparing CAD drawings in 2D and 3D, and having hands-on experience in Sheetmetal Product & Tool Designing as well as Injection Moulding Tool Designing. Additionally, you should possess basic knowledge in Engineering Mechanics, Strength of Materials, and be proficient in working with NX software. Your responsibilities will also include conducting research to determine the design and engineering methods needed for mechanical systems, understanding Jigs & fixture design, and being familiar with GD&T. You will be required to modify dimensions and adjust plans according to project requirements. Key Responsibilities: - Ability to Read & Understand CAD drawings. - Preparation of CAD Drawings (2D & 3D). - Hands-on Experience in Sheetmetal Product & Tool Designing. - Hands-on Experience in Injection Moulding Tool Designing. - Basic knowledge in Engineering Mechanics & Strength of Materials. - Proficiency in working with NX software. - Good Analytical skills. - Conducting research for design and engineering methods. - Knowledge in Jigs & fixture design. - Familiarity with GD&T. - Re-Modification of Dimensions and change of Plan as per project requirements. Key Skills: - Technical understanding: Knowledge of materials, manufacturing processes, and mechanics. - Innovation: Ability to generate new ideas. - Communication: Effective communication skills for collaboration with cross-functional teams. - Project Management: Efficiently manage projects, deadlines, and budgets. - CAD Software: Proficiency in AutoCAD, NX, or similar software. Qualifications Required: - Diploma / B.E in Mechanical Engineering. - Bachelor's degree (Preferred).
