Tool Design Engineer

Job Description

1. Managing, coordinating and delivering technically challenging projects on time, within time line and to the desired quality.

2. Managing a single or multi-functional design team responsible for delivering projects in accordance with customer’s requirements.

3 Coordinating design activities across various disciplines within the design team.

4. Comfortable with interfacing with the Client and other design team members regarding the production of information in line with agreed deliverables.

5. Understanding and managing changes to scope and programme.

6. Identifying risks and opportunities and contributing to the project risk and opportunities.

7. Escalating any matters that could pose a potential contractual/commercial risk to Management at the earliest opportunity.

8. Management of internal costs/resource against proposed budget targets.

9. Progress reporting and monitoring progress in line with project KPI’s.

Job Requirement

1. Degree qualified, GT & TC with DTDM or NTTF with DTDM qualification with 5-8 years of experience working on design projects for Aerospace Industries.

2. Good interpersonal and communication skills both verbally and in writing.

3. A hard working and flexible individual, who is a team player, possesses good attention to detail, is reliable, proactive and shows initiative whilst able to keep cool under pressure and when working to often demanding deadlines.

4. Ability to effectively manage and motivate a team.

5. Familiar with Jigs, Fixtures, Mould & Press Tool Design and has an understanding of 3D modelling tools (Catia V5) for design and coordination purposes.

6. Should be familiar with Process Design for the Aerospace Structural, Engine & Sheet metal Parts.

7. Self-motivated and able to work both independently as well as within a larger multi-discipline team.

8. Ability to communicate effectively at all levels and across disciplines

9. Is familiar with the issues and management surrounding project delivery from multiple design centers, including the use of off shore facilities.

10. A supportive and encouraging approach to mentoring less experienced members of the team.

11. Ability to adapt to different cultures and working environments to build relationship with clients and team members alike.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹55,000.00 - ₹61,000.00 per month
