Experience : 7+ years Job Location : Panaji -Goa, Gandhinagar-Gujarat, Bengaluru-Karnataka Work Mode : 5 days full-time Work from Office Skills/Expertise Required : WordPress Development Job Summary: The Tech Lead – Software Engineering is responsible for leading a team of software engineers in the design, development, and delivery of high-quality software solutions. This role requires a strong technical background, hands-on coding experience, and leadership skills to guide the team through complex projects. The Tech Lead will collaborate closely with product managers, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure that software projects are completed on time, within scope, and aligned with the company’s technical and business objectives. Key Responsibilities: Technical Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of software engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration, continuous learning, and innovation. Provide technical guidance and direction in the design, development, testing, and deployment of software solutions. Ensure adherence to best practices, coding standards, and architectural guidelines. Project Management: Collaborate with product managers and other stakeholders to define project requirements, scope, and timelines. Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of software projects, ensuring alignment with business goals. Identify and mitigate risks and dependencies throughout the project lifecycle. Hands-on Development: Participate in hands-on coding and code reviews, ensuring high-quality, scalable, and maintainable code. Implement complex features and solve technical challenges alongside the team. Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies and incorporate them into the development process as appropriate. Team Development: Mentor and coach team members, providing constructive feedback and career development opportunities. Conduct regular performance evaluations and assist in the recruitment and onboarding of new team members. Foster a positive and productive work environment that encourages creativity and innovation. Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, design, QA, and operations, to deliver high-quality products. Communicate technical concepts and project status clearly and effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Serve as a liaison between the engineering team and other departments to ensure alignment and smooth project execution. Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Experience: Minimum of 7 years of experience in software engineering, with a strong focus on full-stack development. Proven experience in leading and managing software engineering teams. 5+ years of experience in Python development (Django, Flask, REST Framework, DBMS etc.). Experience in front-end web technologies like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks (Angular/React/Vue.js). Strong experience in design, implementation, and optimization of RDBMS databases, especially MySQL/Postgres/MS SQL. Experience in developing technical/software design of the application. Proven experience in planning, execution, and implementation of high-quality software projects including experience with project management tools like Jira. Technical Skills: Strong expertise in software design patterns, architecture, and development methodologies. Proficiency in the mentioned relevant tools and technologies above and plus cloud platforms, CI/CD, DevOps practices, etc.]. Experience with agile development processes and tools (e.g., Scrum, Jira). Soft Skills: Excellent leadership and team management abilities. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Preferred Competencies: Experience with microservices architecture and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).Knowledge of database management systems (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).Previous experience working in a fast-paced, start-up environment.
