Job Title: Accounts Executive (US Accounting & MSP-Based Accounting) Location: Remote Job Type: Fulltime Experience Required: 25 years in US Accounting, preferably with experience in MSP-based accounting. Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Executive with expertise in US accounting practices and Managed Service Provider (MSP)-based accounting. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling day-to-day financial operations, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring compliance with US accounting standards. Key Responsibilities Accounting & Bookkeeping: Manage end-to-end bookkeeping, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations. Process invoices, payments, and expense reports accurately and promptly. US Accounting Practices: Ensure compliance with US GAAP and other applicable accounting regulations. Prepare and manage payroll in compliance with US tax laws and regulations. Handle tax filings, including federal, state, and local taxes. MSP-Based Accounting: Maintain accurate financial records specific to MSP business models, such as recurring billing, subscription models, and cost allocations. Work with PSA (Professional Services Automation) tools and MSP accounting systems like QuickBooks, ConnectWise, or Autotask. Track profitability by client and project and prepare related reports. Reporting & Analysis: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including P&L statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements. Provide insights and recommendations to optimize financial processes and controls. Audit & Compliance: Support internal and external audits by preparing necessary documentation. Ensure adherence to accounting policies and financial controls. Collaboration: Work closely with the finance team, clients, and MSP operational teams to ensure smooth financial operations. Liaise with US-based clients and vendors for financial transactions and clarifications. Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field. Experience: 2–5 years of experience in US accounting, with a strong understanding of GAAP. Experience in MSP-based accounting and familiarity with PSA tools (e.g., QuickBooks, ConnectWise, or Autotask). Skills: Strong proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with US-based clients and teams. Preferred Qualifications Certification in accounting (e.g., CPA, CMA) is a plus. Experience with SaaS-based subscription billing models. Familiarity with financial tools such as NetSuite, Xero, or other ERP systems.
