Qualification: B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent

About the Role

SRC is seeking a skilled Thermal Engineer with a strong mechanical background to support our HVAC and thermal systems projects. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in AC/HVAC project execution, site supervision, system testing, troubleshooting, and performance evaluation.

Key Responsibilities1. Thermal & Mechanical Analysis

• Perform heat load calculations, thermal analysis, and energy performance assessments for HVAC systems.
• Support design reviews and suggest improvements for thermal efficiency and system reliability.

2. Project Execution & Coordination

• Assist in installation, commissioning, and testing of AC/HVAC equipment.
• Coordinate with technicians, contractors, and vendors to ensure timely project delivery.
• Review project drawings, BOQs, and technical specifications.

3. System Troubleshooting & Service Support

• Diagnose issues in HVAC systems including chillers, package units, VRF/VRV systems, AHUs, pumps, and ventilation equipment.
• Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
• Prepare service reports and provide recommendations for performance improvement.

4. Documentation & Compliance

• Ensure compliance with safety standards and company guidelines.
• Maintain project documentation such as commissioning reports, testing logs, and technical evaluations.

5. Client Interaction

• Assist in technical discussions with clients and support their operational needs.
• Provide on-site guidance and training as needed.

Required Skills & Competencies

• Strong understanding of HVAC principles, thermodynamics, and heat transfer.
• Familiarity with HVAC design software (e.g., HAP, AutoCAD, Revit – added advantage).
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and specifications.
• Hands-on experience with commissioning and service activities.
• Good analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Experience

• Worked in AC/HVAC installation or service projects for 2–3 years.
• Experience with VRF/VRV, chilled water systems, ducting, and ventilation works.
• Exposure to onsite project handling and client coordination.
