About The Opportunity

Deliver engaging Social Science lessons for grades 6-10, covering History, Geography, Civics, and Economics.
Develop annual curriculum plans and weekly lesson plans aligned with CBSE learning outcomes.
Design formative and summative assessments to track student progress and adapt instruction.
Integrate ICT tools, project-based learning, and real-world case studies to deepen conceptual understanding.
Maintain a positive, inclusive classroom environment and manage behaviour using restorative practices.
Collaborate with parents, counsellors, and faculty to support holistic student development.

Skills & Qualifications

Must-Have

B.Ed. or equivalent teacher training with Social Science specialisation.
2+ years classroom experience at middle or secondary level.
Fluency in English and Hindi for instruction and communication.
Proficiency with smart boards and online learning platforms.
Sound knowledge of CBSE syllabus and current pedagogical trends.

Preferred

CTET/TET qualification.
Experience in experiential or inquiry-based learning frameworks.
Exposure to differentiated instruction for mixed-ability classrooms.
Participation in Model United Nations or similar co-curricular programmes.
Basic understanding of NEP 2020 mandates.
