Operating in the CBSE/ICSE framework, the school delivers holistic learning experiences that blend academic rigor with co-curricular enrichment, preparing students for national board examinations and global competencies. Role & Responsibilities Create and deliver engaging English lessons for grades 6-10 aligned to CBSE/ICSE standards and school curriculum maps. Integrate literature, language, and writing skills with interactive pedagogies, technology tools, and real-world contexts. Design formative and summative assessments, analyze results, and differentiate instruction to drive measurable student progress. Maintain an inclusive, disciplined, and motivating classroom environment that fosters critical thinking and language fluency. Collaborate with subject teams on interdisciplinary projects, exam preparation strategies, and continuous curriculum improvement. Communicate regularly with parents, counselors, and administrators to support student well-being and academic goals. Skills & Qualifications Must-Have B.Ed. or equivalent teaching credential with English specialization; graduation in English literature or language. Minimum 2 years classroom experience as TGT/PGT English in a CBSE or ICSE affiliated school. Strong command of English grammar, composition, and contemporary pedagogy. Proficiency with smart-class technology, MS Office/Google Workspace, and online learning platforms. Excellent classroom management and student engagement techniques. Preferred Experience mentoring debate, drama, or creative writing clubs. Training in experiential or inquiry-based learning methodologies. Certification in Cambridge/IB or ESL programmes.
