Textile Merchandiser

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Textile Merchandiser to manage product development, sampling, production follow-ups, and client coordination. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of textiles, fabrics, trims, and export documentation, with the ability to handle buyers and vendors efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as a bridge between buyers, suppliers, and production teams.
• Develop product samples as per buyer specifications and requirements.
• Source and negotiate fabrics, trims, and accessories from vendors.
• Coordinate with production units to ensure timely order execution.
• Monitor quality standards during sampling and bulk production.
• Prepare cost sheets, T&A (Time & Action) plans, and production status reports.
• Communicate with buyers regarding order updates, approvals, and shipment details.
• Ensure on-time deliveries and resolve any issues during production.
• Maintain strong relationships with buyers, vendors, and internal teams.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree/diploma in Textile, Fashion, or Apparel Merchandising.
• 2–5 years of experience as a Textile/Apparel Merchandiser.
• Strong knowledge of fabrics, garment construction, and textile processes.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and email correspondence.
• Ability to multitask, work under pressure, and meet deadlines.
