Textile Merchandiser

As a Textile Merchandiser at our Coimbatore location, you will play a crucial role in coordinating with suppliers, production teams, and buyers to ensure smooth order execution and timely delivery of textile products. Your primary responsibilities will include: - Coordinating with vendors, suppliers, and buyers to manage orders and ensure timely execution. - Following up on production schedules, quality checks, and shipment timelines. - Assisting in sample development and approval processes. - Maintaining and updating records related to order status, inventory, and production reports. - Liaising with internal teams for cost calculations, pricing, and negotiations. - Ensuring quality control and adherence to customer specifications. - Staying updated with industry trends, fabric knowledge, and market demands. To qualify for this role, you should have: - Education: Diploma/Degree in Textile Technology, Fashion Designing, or a related field. - Experience: Freshers to 3 years of experience in textile merchandising or a related field. Additionally, the following skills are required: - Strong communication and negotiation skills. - Knowledge of textiles, fabrics, and garment production processes. - Proficiency in MS Office and basic ERP tools. - Attention to detail and ability to multitask.
