Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Test Automation Engineer II located in Thiruvananthapuram. The Test Automation Engineer II will be responsible for developing and executing automated test cases, conducting manual testing, and ensuring quality assurance across all software products. The role also involves collaborating with software developers to identify and fix bugs and improve product quality. Responsibilities: • Design and execute manual test cases based on functional and feature requirements. • Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts. • Identify, log, and track software defects to resolution. • Collaborate with product managers and Test Leads to understand product requirements. • Conduct regression testing and ensure application stability. • Create and maintain test evidence documentation and Quality reports. • Ensure compliance with best practices and testing standards. • Participate in code reviews, Sprint Review, testing Quality acceptance reviews. • Domain knowledge required for Commodity Market, Banking/Finance Domain Required Skills and Experience for Lateral Hiring: • Specify a minimum 3 years of industry Experience, professional experience ~6years. • Proven experience in both manual and automated testing. • Strong in the Programming language Java • Excellent in testing frameworks such as Selenium, JUnit, or TestNG. • Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC). • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. • Strong written and verbal communication skills. • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies is a plus. • Prior Knowledge in the Commodity, banking, or finance domain is a plus.
