Job Responsibilities
Our ideal candidate is detail-oriented, has excellent verbal and written English communication skills, strong organizational abilities, and can manage multiple tasks effectively at the same time. You will collaborate with product and engineering teams to plan and develop automated testing strategies. The candidate needs to be a self-starter, eager to learn new technologies, and consider security implications in their designs. You are highly self-motivated and work well both independently and as part of a team. You possess excellent communication skills, can translate technical jargon into business-friendly language to convey concepts and ideas (and vice versa), and are comfortable working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. You will be part of an experienced international team
Main Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks.
- Review design specifications to ensure a clear understanding of the project and automation requirements.
- Be prepared to explore new features in the application and automate their testing.
- Identify automation test requirements from specifications and create tests to ensure comprehensive coverage.
- Run and evaluate automated test cases, then report the outcomes.
- Isolate, replicate, and document bugs, then verify bug fixes.
- Develop clear, concise, and detailed automation test plans and cases.
- Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline.
- Strong communication skills in English are required (both oral and written).
Background & Skills
- 2 to 4 years of industry experience in test automation, preferably with Playwright and modern testing frameworks using JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Hands-on experience with Visual Studio Code, GIT commands, Node.js, and NPM.
- Experience with Azure DevOps involving CI/CD and test plans.
- Practical experience in API testing and automation using tools like Postman or Bruno.
- Ability to identify problem areas in projects and suggest solutions to overcome them.
- Good working knowledge of Agile methodologies, testing practices, tools, and metrics.
- Basic understanding of CMS-based applications.
- Experience with functional testing, API testing, performance testing, deployment testing, security testing, accessibility testing, and white-box testing, with a focus on automation.
