Territory Sales Manager

As a Sales & Marketing Sales professional at HM CLAUSE located in Ranchi, Jharkhand, India, you will be responsible for various key functions to drive business growth. Your responsibilities will include expanding and maintaining the company's channel database by identifying customer needs, analyzing distributor sales potential, and updating market intelligence databases for the defined area. You will work closely with the Sales Manager to convey market trends and support product development activities by setting up trials, evaluating new varieties, and providing feedback on variety advancement. Additionally, you will be involved in planning and implementing promotional activities for new varieties, leading trials visits, fairs, and other promotional events with customers. You will also propose and negotiate customer-specific sales actions to achieve sales revenue targets, monitor order taking, sales execution, and follow-up to ensure targets are met. Reporting plays a crucial role in this position, as you will be required to write and submit sales reports to the Sales Manager. You will also be responsible for credit management, handling claims, and complaints with the support of the local Product Development Representative. To excel in this role, we expect you to be proactive, results-oriented, and possess a Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 5 years of experience in sales and marketing. You should demonstrate strong skills in territory turnover, receivables, collections recovery, market and competitor intelligence reporting, and sales team development.
