Job Description

Role & responsibilities:

1. Business Acquisition & Cross Sell

  • Source new SME clients for Working Capital, Cash Credit, OD Limits, Term Loans, and Prime LAP products.
  • Identify cross-sell opportunities across existing customer base to drive product penetration.
  • Conduct market mapping and generate leads through references, CA connectors, DSA networks, and open market sourcing.

2. Sales & Revenue Generation

  • Achieve monthly and quarterly business targets for Working Capital and Prime LAP disbursements.
  • Drive fee income and ancillary revenue through cross-sell of banking products.
  • Track funnel conversion, maintain healthy pipeline, and ensure quality sourcing.

3. Client Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with SME customers to ensure high satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Understand customer needs and offer relevant financing solutions.
  • Manage post-sanction onboarding, documentation, and coordination for loan disbursement.

4. Credit & Risk Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with bank policies, lending norms, and KYC guidelines.
  • Conduct preliminary credit assessment and financial understanding of SME clients.
  • Coordinate with credit, risk, and operations teams for case approvals and disbursal.

5. Market Intelligence

  • Track competitor offerings, market trends, pricing, and customer requirements.
  • Identify new business segments and potential clusters for SME lending.

Preferred candidate profile:

  • Strong understanding of SME lending, Working Capital structures, and LAP products.
  • Good financial analysis & documentation knowledge.
  • Strong relationship-building and networking abilities.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Proactive, target-driven, and high on execution.

  • Education:

    Graduate / MBA preferred.
  • Experience:

    26 years in SME lending / Working Capital / LAP sales or relevant financial products.
  • Industry Preference:

    Banks, NBFCs, SME finance companies.
  • Local market knowledge is mandatory.
