Role Overview: Airtel is a global telecommunications company aiming to provide connectivity and opportunities to a wide population. As a Territory Sales Manager for Mass Retail, you will be responsible for driving sales, increasing market share, revenue, and executing the Go-To-Market (GTM) strategy. Your role will involve engaging with channel partners to enhance business relationships and optimize the sales and distribution network within your territory. Key Responsibilities: - Drive revenue growth by focusing on new and existing channel partners to expand the company's presence in the territory. - Optimize the sales and distribution network to improve market penetration. - Strengthen the distribution ecosystem by increasing below-the-line (BTL) activities, enhancing coverage, and increasing transacting outlets. - Ensure brand visibility through organized merchandising activities to achieve sales targets. - Implement processes to enhance customer experience, satisfaction, and issue resolution. - Manage and expand channel/distributor network through incentives and grievance redressal. - Lead the territory team, update their knowledge base, and coordinate with Zonal/Area managers. - Train partners on product features, sales techniques, and market positioning to strengthen the mass retail business. - Collaborate with central functions such as marketing, finance, and HR to ensure alignment with company policies.
