Role overview

inbound-led, account-management role

Key responsibilities

  • Inbound lead handling (primary):

    take ownership of assigned inbound leads (doctors, clinics, hospitals). Prioritise, follow up, and convert. (No expectation of cold calling.)
  • Trial kit & onboarding:

    manage distribution of trial kits, demo samples and starter protocols in a compliant manner; support doctors on first-use guidance.
  • Account ownership & KAM:

    build and maintain a book of active accounts (~200 initial targets), nurture relationships, track prescribing intent and convert to recurring orders/listings.
  • Clinical education:

    run scientific detailing, case conversations and small in-clinic demos; escalate clinical questions to medical affairs.
  • Events & CME support:

    help organise doctor meetings, educational sessions and capture outcomes/testimonials.
  • Territory execution:

    maintain disciplined field coverage and visit cadence — mainly follow-ups, sampling and KOL nurture (target: quality of calls, not cold-call volumes).
  • CRM & reporting:

    log all visits, trial outcomes, prescription pull, and feedback in CRM daily; submit weekly MIS and funnel forecasts.
  • Coordination:

    coordinate deliveries with operations, flag supply gaps, and work with marketing & medical teams on content / materials.
  • Compliance:

    ensure all communications and sample distributions are AYUSH compliant and follow company SOPs.

Success metrics (KPIs)

  • Trial → conversion rate (%)
  • Active prescribing accounts (monthly net new)
  • Repeat prescriptions / reorder rate
  • Doctor coverage & follow-up frequency (CRM hygiene)
  • Quality feedback & clinical case captures submitted to medical team

Must-have

  • 2–6 years field experience in Ayurvedic / nutraceutical / herbal sales or allied pharmacy sales (prefer Delhi-NCR exposure)
  • Comfortable working inbound leads and doing KAM-style relationship work (not cold calling)
  • Good network or familiarity with Ayurvedic practitioners, integrative clinics, and small hospitals desirable
  • Strong communicator in Hindi + working English; credible scientific detailing skills (clinical/therapeutic explanation)
  • CRM discipline and basic Excel reporting skills
  • Graduate in Science / Pharmacy / BAMS or similar (MBA/PGD welcome but not essential)
  • Own transport for local field travel




Nice-to-have

  • Prior experience managing ~100+ accounts or supporting territory scale-up
  • Experience with trial distribution logistics and basic sample compliance
  • Prior exposure to palliative / pain / chronic care segments
