Job Description

Role Objective

To drive Cosmos Pumps’ participation and qualification in tenders by ensuring timely brand enlistments, pre-qualifications, and compliance with all technical and commercial requirements in both public and private sector organizations. This role combines technical understanding, documentation expertise, and stakeholder coordination to ensure Cosmos Pumps’ inclusion in all key tender ecosystems.

Key Responsibilities

1. 1. Brand Enlistment & Registration

  • Identify and pursue enlistment opportunities with government departments, PSUs, municipalities, water boards, infra & EPC companies, and large private clients.
  • Prepare and submit brand approval documents as per client requirements (technical specs, brochures, certificates, financials, etc.).
  • Coordinate with internal teams (Sales, Quality, Finance, Production) to compile required documents.
  • Maintain an updated tracker of enlistment status across organizations.
  • Regularly follow up with concerned authorities until enlistment is completed.

2. 2. Tendering & Bidding

  • Scan government e-procurement portals (GeM, CPPP, state tender sites, municipal portals, etc.) for relevant tenders.
  • Review tender documents, extract key eligibility, and prepare Go/No-Go summary for management.
  • Coordinate preparation of technical and commercial bids including all annexures, compliance statements, and forms.
  • Ensure timely submission of both online and offline tenders.
  • Liaise with clients or consultants for clarifications and pre-bid meetings.

3. 3. Coordination & Documentation

  • Liaise with the Sales, Presales, Production, and Finance teams for input data, price approvals, and delivery schedules.
  • Manage repository of standard tender documents (certificates, performance reports, drawings, declarations, etc.) for reuse.
  • Update tender and enlistment databases on a weekly basis.
  • Support audit and compliance requirements related to tenders.

4. 4. Travel & External Liaison

  • Travel across India for brand enlistment meetings, document submissions, and department follow-ups as required.
  • Represent Cosmos Pumps professionally at client offices, PSUs, and EPC companies.

Desired Candidate Profile

Qualification: Graduate/Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (MBA preferred)
Experience: 3–7 years of experience in Tendering / Vendor Registration / Enlistment for capital goods, industrial equipment, or engineering sector (preferably pumps, valves, or similar).

Required Skills:

  • Strong understanding of tendering procedures (Govt. & Private)
  • Excellent documentation and communication skills
  • Familiarity with GeM, CPPP, and state tender portals
  • Ability to interpret technical specifications and match them with company products
  • Good Excel and MS Office proficiency
  • Self-driven, detail-oriented, and comfortable with field travel

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
