Tender Specialist

About the Role

As a Tender Specialist at ZunRoof, you will be a key contributor in driving our Solar EPC business by managing the complete tendering lifecycle. You will coordinate internally and externally to ensure accurate, competitive, and timely submission of bids for government and private-sector solar projects. Your work will directly influence ZunRoofs growth trajectory in the solar industry.

Key Responsibilities

-Manage the end-to-end tendering process for Solar EPC projects (Govt. + Pvt. tenders).-Thoroughly review and analyze tender documents, RFPs, RFQs, and BOQs to understand technical and commercial requirements.-Coordinate with internal teams including Engineering, Projects, Finance, Procurement, and Management to gather necessary inputs.-Prepare, compile, and submit high-quality technical and commercial proposals within deadlines.-Work closely with the Finance team to develop competitive pricing models and cost estimates.-Ensure all tender submissions comply with technical specifications, legal norms, and internal quality standards.-Track and monitor upcoming tender opportunities on GeM, eProcurement portals, DISCOM portals, and other government/private platforms.-Maintain updated documentation such as company credentials, certifications, performance records, etc.-Liaise with clients, consultants, vendors, and subcontractors for clarification, compliance, and proposal preparation.-Conduct basic market research to understand industry benchmarks, competitor pricing, and emerging trends.-Maintain a systematic database of submitted tenders, outcomes, and learning for future improvements.

Qualifications & Experience

-Bachelors degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Energy) or a related technical discipline.

-13 years of hands-on experience in tendering for Solar EPC projects (Rooftop, Ground Mount, or Hybrid).

-Familiarity with government tender processes, especially GeM and State/National eProcurement portals.

-Strong understanding of solar EPC components, system design basics, BOQ preparation, and industry pricing.

-Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder coordination skills.

-Ability to work under tight deadlines with high attention to detail.

-Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
-Strong organizational and analytical skills.
