Tender Executive

Role & responsibilities :

• Identify, track, and evaluate domestic and international tenders related to Power Generation, Transmission & Distribution, EPC projects, substations, and electrification works.
  
• Regularly monitor e-procurement portals
  
• Analyze tender documents, NITs, RFQs, RFPs, BOQs, technical specifications, and commercial terms to assess feasibility and risks.
  
• Coordinate with engineering, projects, finance, SCM, legal, and commercial teams for timely preparation of technical and commercial bids.
  
• Prepare and compile technical proposals, compliance statements, method statements, drawings, and required certifications as per tender requirements.
  
• Support preparation of commercial bids, costing inputs, price schedules, bid security (EMD/BG), and other financial documents.
  
• Ensure compliance with qualification criteria (PQ), statutory requirements, and client guidelines.
  
• Manage pre-bid queries, clarifications, and amendments, and participate in pre-bid meetings.
  
• Handle online bid submissions and ensure accurate uploading of documents within deadlines.
  
• Maintain and update a tender tracker / MIS with bid status, outcomes, and key learnings.
  
• Coordinate for post-bid activities, including negotiations, LOI/LOA follow-ups, and contract handover to project execution teams.
  
• Maintain proper documentation and records for audit and future reference.
  
• Track awarded projects and support in contract finalization where required.
  
• Stay updated with industry trends, government policies, DISCOM norms, and tendering procedures in the power sector.

Preferred candidate profile

• Strong knowledge of Power EPC tendering (T&D / Substations / Solar / Electrical Works)
  
• Familiarity with utility-level power projects
  
• Excellent coordination and documentation skills
  
• Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and e-tender portals
  
• Ability to work under tight deadlines
