Role Overview

The Tele Caller / Response Officer Admissions will play a key role in managing student inquiries, guiding prospective applicants through the admission process, and supporting the overall enrolment objectives of the University. The role involves outbound calling, counselling, lead management, and coordination with the admissions team to ensure seamless communication and positive engagement with students and parents

Key Responsibilities

  • Make outbound calls to prospective students and parents to promote University programs and admission offerings.
  • Counsel students on program details, eligibility criteria, application procedures, and career pathways.
  • Handle inbound queries and provide quick, accurate responses through calls, WhatsApp, and email.
  • Maintain and update lead databases, ensuring timely follow-ups until conversion.
  • Guide applicants through the admission and documentation process.
  • Coordinate with the internal admissions and outreach teams for scheduling counselling sessions.
  • Meet daily/weekly calling and conversion targets as assigned.
  • Participate in admission campaigns, events, and outreach activities when required.
  • Ensure high levels of professionalism and service quality in all communication.

Required Skills & Competencies

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to explain academic programs clearly and persuasively.
  • Strong telephone etiquette and customer-handling ability.
  • Good command over English, Hindi and regional languages (preferred).
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM/ERP systems.
  • Ability to work under targets and maintain high productivity.
  • Positive attitude, patience, and strong problem-solving approach.

Qualifications

  • Graduate in any discipline.
  • 13 years of experience in telecalling, student counselling, customer service, or similar roles.
  • Experience in the education sector will be an added advantage.
