Tekla Detailer

The Tekla Detailer will be responsible for creating detailed 3D models and fabrication drawings for structural steel / rebar / precast elements using

Key Responsibilities

1. Tekla Modelling

• Create accurate 3D models for structural steel / rebar / precast structures using Tekla Structures.

• Develop assemblies, connections, BOQs, and material lists.

• Ensure model accuracy as per project specifications and international standards.

2. Drawing Preparation

• Prepare fabrication drawings, GA drawings, erection drawings, and shop drawings.

• Generate CNC, NC, fabrication lists, and reports.

• Ensure proper dimensions, welding symbols, and notes.

3. Quality & Compliance

• Review drawings for accuracy and compliance with project standards.

• Follow non-US codes/standards (Euro Codes, BS, IS, Australian Standards, etc.).

• Maintain drawing documentation and revision control.

4. Coordination

• Coordinate with design engineers, project managers, and clients.

• Participate in internal model reviews and clash checks.

• Update models based on client comments and RFI responses.

5. Project Execution

• Meet project deadlines and deliverables.

• Maintain clear communication with team members.

• Support senior detailers / team leads in completing tasks.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Diploma / Degree in Civil / Mechanical Engineering.

• 1 - 5 years experience in Tekla Structures detailing.

• Strong knowledge of structural detailing concepts.

• Ability to interpret design drawings and specifications.

• Experience in non-US project standards (optional but preferred).

• Good understanding of connections, fabrication, and erection processes.

• Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD (added advantage).

Preferred Skills

• Experience working with European, Middle East, Australian or Asian clients.

• Knowledge of BIM workflows and clash detection.

• Ability to manage multiple projects and tight timelines.

• Good communication and team-coordination skills.
