Tekla Detailer

Role Overview: As a Detailer with expertise in Tekla and AutoCAD Basic at IDES UK, your primary responsibility will be to prepare Tekla 3D models for Cold Formed Steel (CFS) and Hot Rolled Steel (HRS), Structural Framing plans, sections, and Connections models. You will also be tasked with conceptualizing architectural drawings, completing modeling and detailing, as well as handling fabrication for CFS and HRS structures. Your role will involve collaborating with international clients and ensuring accuracy in the detailing and modeling process. Key Responsibilities: - Conceptualize architectural drawings and structural arrangement - Hands-on experience in Tekla modeling and detailing for CFS and HRS structures - Complete modeling, detailing, and connections for CFS and HRS - Manage fabrication for CFS and HRS structures and generate reports - Interact with international clients and adhere to international building codes - Utilize AutoCAD software for basic design tasks Qualifications Required: - Thorough knowledge of detailing and modeling for residential/commercial structures - Ability to follow processes accurately and efficiently - Experience working in a US/UK based structural firm - Strong communication and problem-solving skills - Certification in Tekla and other structural detailing software - 5 to 8 years of experience in Tekla modeling for HRS and Cold Form Steel structures - Diploma in Civil Engineering (DCE) or a degree in Civil Engineering Please note: The job description does not include any additional details about the company.,
