Job Description

  • Role & responsibilities:


This is an India based individual contribution role that will directly support the IT recruitment of Sciente in Singapore/Malaysia/Philippines.

  • Follow a consultative approach to understand the on-site IT job role requirements & expectations of the clients we have in Asia Pacific (APAC);
  • Understand various technologies involved in the role and how it works;
  • Derive an effective sourcing strategy to reach out to right group of tech talents within the APAC country of job role;
  • Understand the matching skills/capabilities/aspirations of the tech talents;
  • Guide talents for their career progression in a consultative manner (candidate management);
  • Work closely with on-site client facing managers/business development managers;
  • Present the right talent profiles to the clients or client facing managers;
  • Own-up and build good rapport/relationship with the shortlisted candidates through-out the process;
  • Manage shortlisted candidates proactively with a consultative approach;
  • Facilitate the matching/hiring process for the client to hire the right talents, bingo! That's what is expected from this role;
  • Managing large resource ramp-ups as a project and team management are possible for aspirants with relevant skills;

Preferred candidate profile:

  • Relevant work experience of 3-6 years in executive search or IT talent acquisition or tech recruitment in end-user client serving environment is mandatory;
  • At least 3 years of work experience for APAC (Singapore, Malaysia, Philippines, Hong Kong) clients is a must;

  • Having a commitment towards accountability of the role with a can-do attitude to achieve the desired goals on a monthly basis is very much required;
  • Communication, inter-personal skills, meticulous and result-orientation are the most important attributes for this role;
  • Having a mind-set of delivering value to make candidates/clients succeed;
  • Education in engineering or computer science related discipline shall be highly desired;
  • This being a tech specialised role, aptitude and ability to keep learning about technology tools/systems/platforms, is one of the key success factors for this role.
