Job Description

Qualifications and Experience:

At least 5 years of relevant experience in full life cycle IT talent acquisition/IT recruitment of active and passive IT professionals.

Well-versed with Singapore. Malaysia and Philippines, talent market, laws compliances, and other recruitment area.

  • A graduate degree in IT, Computer Science, a related field, or any engineering discipline is a prerequisite.
  • Essential qualifications include outstanding communication written, verbal & listening skills and interpersonal skills, along with a results-oriented mindset.
  • Demonstrated ability to strategically source and judiciously screen tech talents to pinpoint the ideal fit for our clients.
  • Proficiency in engaging with potential talents, adopting a consultative approach to understand their career aspirations, and aligning tech talents ambitions with our clients' project offerings.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to continuous learning are mandatory for our organizational culture and the demands of the markets we serve.
  • Capability to work towards meeting performance goals.
  • Independently contributing to the entire candidate journey, from sourcing to onboarding, is a key aspect of the role.
  • A fervor for delivering quality results, coupled with discipline, focus, perseverance, and resourcefulness, is highly valued.

Main Objectives & Responsibilities:

This is an India-based individual contribution role that will directly support the IT recruitment of Sciente in Singapore/Malaysia/Philippines.

  • Primarily, the focus is on technology talent acquisition / IT recruitment to meet our clients' requirements of perm or contract roles.
  • Adopting a consultative approach, we aim to act as coaches and talent advisors for IT candidates.
  • Comprehend our clients' profiles, their project environments, roles, responsibilities, required skill sets, and expectations from on-site Client Facing Managers (CFM).
  • Collaborate with our Client Facing Manager to clarify job descriptions and ensure a common understanding.
  • Creatively source and engage potential IT professionals through various channels.
  • Guide and advise potential candidates, understanding their technology skills, capabilities, and aspirations.
  • Evaluate candidates based on evidence of their overall skills, experience, and motivation aligned with the job description.
  • Present a concise profile summary of shortlisted candidates to CFM/clients.
  • Facilitate the interview process for clients and candidates, ensuring delightful engagements.
  • Effectively manage critical moments of truths and pre-closures.
  • Adhere diligently to Sciente's internal processes and submit weekly reports on time.
  • Our objective is to support candidates in crossing the finish line and seamlessly joining our client projects.
  • Engage selected candidates effectively for successful onboarding and completion of the crucial first three months. That's the expectation from this role.
