Technology Lead

Key Responsibilities:

Technical Leadership & Strategy

• Define and implement a comprehensive engineering strategy aligned with the organization’s mission and growth objectives.
• Drive platform modernization and architectural evolution to ensure scalability, reliability, and performance.
• Direct the architecture and deployment of all AI/ML models in the future. (e.g., LLMs for the chatbot, recommendation engines for learning paths).
• Oversee key technology stack decisions and guide long-term product infrastructure planning.

Collaboration & Delivery

• Partner closely with Product, Design, and Business teams to deliver transformative learning experiences.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives that enable innovation, agility, and continuous improvement.
• Manage and align external engineering partners, ensuring delivery quality and adherence to timelines.

Engineering Excellence

• Champion best practices in software development — including clean code, testing, security, and performance optimization.
• Establish and monitor key engineering metrics (delivery velocity, uptime, reliability, and quality indicators).
• Ensure robust DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and efficient cloud infrastructure management.

Culture & Leadership

• Foster a collaborative, inclusive, and high-performing engineering culture.
• Mentor and guide internal contributors and partner teams to build strong technical capabilities.
• Communicate engineering progress, challenges, and insights effectively to senior leadership.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or information technology.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in software engineering, with at least 5 years leading cross-functional projects or teams.
• Proven success in scaling technology platforms through rapid growth phases.
• Strong background in DevOps, cloud infrastructure, and distributed systems design.
• Technical expertise in Machine Learning or deploying AI/LLM-powered features in production environments.
• Demonstrated experience in aligning technical strategy with business goals and user needs.
• Track record of implementing engineering best practices and maintaining high quality standards.
• Experience in education technology or e-learning domain is must.
