You will be responsible for delivering subsystem specifications and test specs. Your primary role will be to determine the most optimal solution considering technical, cost, and schedule tradeoffs. This role requires close collaboration with ASIC, HW, Firmware, and Validation teams to navigate technical challenges and identify the most beneficial solutions. You will be tasked to build a small team to support the development and bring-up of next-generation products from a systems engineering perspective.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Understand MIPI, MPhy and Unipro interfaces and able to configure for different speeds by closely working with IP and Firmware team
- Understand customer specifications and drive design changes to meet them.
- Deliver product design specification documents and test objectives.
- Align the development and validation process with cross-functional teams.
- Create internal and external specifications, stay current with technology trends and roadmaps.
- Mentor engineers inside and outside the team.
- Learn constantly, dive into new areas with unfamiliar technologies, and embrace the ambiguity of problem-solving.
- Apply critical thinking to the results/data of competitive analysis and provide guidance for product development.
- Partner with cross-functional teams, including ASIC, Firmware, and Validation, to ensure seamless product development.
- Foster innovation and contribute to the development of products that will achieve widespread market presence.
You will work closely with excellent colleague engineers, cope with complex challenges, innovate, and develop products that will be sold in millions of units.
Qualifications
REQUIRED:
- Proven track record
- Experience in working with MIPI, Mphy and Unipro at register levels
- Experience with C/C++ in developing Embedded FW & scripting automation using Python
- Proven ability to work as part of a global team in multiple geographies
- Bachelors or Masters in Computer Science or Software / Computer / Electrical Engineering
- At least 15 years of experience in ASIC, RT / embedded systems architecture
- Multi-disciplinary experience, including Firmware, HW, and ASIC design
Preferred
- Knowledge of PCIe Gen5/6 technology is an advantage
- Previous experience with storage systems, protocols, and NAND flash – strong advantage
- Previous patent filing – advantage

- Capable of developing wide system view for complex embedded systems
