Job Description

Role & responsibilities End-to-end procurement of electrical and mechanical equipment, components, and materials used in power generation, transmission, and distribution projects. Evaluate technical specifications and align them with commercial requirements. Floating RFQs, technical bid analysis, price negotiation, and purchase order finalization. Vendor identification, qualification, and continuous development. Monitor supply schedules, delivery timelines, and inventory. Coordinate with engineering, project, and finance teams to streamline procurement processes. Ensure compliance with company policies and statutory regulations. Cost analysis, budgeting, contract management and logistic management. ERP-based procurement process handling. Preferred candidate profile Minimum 5-7 years of experience in techno-commercial procurement, preferably in the power/energy sector. Sound knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems used in power plants or transmission infrastructure. Strong negotiation, vendor management, and analytical skills. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and BOQs. Excellent communication and cross-functional coordination ability.
