Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Technician role at Detection Instruments (India) P. Ltd., located in Hazira The Technician will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, testing, and troubleshooting of fire and gas detection systems. Day-to-day tasks include ensuring compliance with technical specifications, providing routine and preventive maintenance, conducting inspections, and supporting technical operations. Collaborating with teams to ensure client satisfaction and maintaining timely documentation of tasks will also form part of the responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of fire and gas detection systems
• Understanding of electronic components and familiarity with control systems
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail and ability to follow technical specifications
• Excellent communication and teamwork capabilities
• Willingness to work on-site at Hazira and travel when required
• Relevant technical certifications or diplomas in electronics or a related field
• Prior experience in a similar role or in the fire and gas detection industry is a plus
