Job Description:

Sona College of Technology is seeking an experienced and passionate Technical Trainer to mentor and train students in programming, data structures, and industry-relevant technologies. The ideal candidate should have strong coding fundamentals, hands-on technical expertise, and the ability to prepare students for placement drives, coding assessments, and real-world projects.

Core Skill Requirements:

• Strong proficiency in C, C++, Java, and Python.

• Excellent understanding of Data Structures and Algorithms (DSA) and competitive programming.

• Sound knowledge of SQL and database concepts (DBMS).

• Strong fundamentals in Computer Networks (CN) and Object-Oriented Programming (OOPs).

Preferred Technical Expertise (Added Advantage):

• Java Backend Development – Spring Boot, Hibernate, RESTful APIs.

• Full Stack Development – MERN / MEAN Stack technologies.

• Data Analytics – Tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Python-based analytics (NumPy, Pandas, Matplotlib).

• Cloud & Enterprise Platforms:

• AWS / CloudWatch

• Salesforce

• ServiceNow

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Train and mentor students in programming, problem-solving, and DSA.

• Conduct interactive sessions, workshops, and coding practice labs.

• Guide students for technical interviews, online coding rounds, and hackathons.

• Design coding assignments, assessments, and evaluation metrics.

• Collaborate with the placement team to align training outcomes with industry requirements.

• Stay updated on the latest technologies and incorporate them into training programs.

Qualification:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science / Information Technology / related disciplines.

• Minimum 2 years of experience in software development, training, or technical mentoring.
